Marshall: 'After my years here it is good to make a final'
In the past we always seem to go out early, but this year we have been doing what we do, taking each game at a time, and we have now made it to the last two.
The game on Tuesday night against Rushall was a good one for us for so many reasons.
We made it three wins on the spin, we played well and we also booked a cup final place.
For me personally there is also the fact that I managed to score the winner in a game like that.
I was playing out of position in the game but due to a lack of numbers I had to do what I had to do.
It was good in a way as I got to enjoy going forward a bit more and had a bit more freedom.
I had to play there in the end as over the season we have had players come in but they are all cup-tied, so numbers wise we were a bit thin on the ground when it came to it.
It is not where I want to be playing, though, as with my size it is not the best for me getting around the pitch like that.
Hopefully I will be back in the centre of defence this weekend against Manchester for what will be one of our biggest games of the season.
They are a good team and do bring a lot of fans to the game.
We owe them also as we lost at there place in a game we never really got going in.
We want to put that right and show every team in this league what we are about.
It will be good to see Keys Park full like that and hopefully we can give the fans who come something to sing about.
That is what we are aiming to do as after a poor run we want them to come back and help cheer us over the line.
It does make a difference to the players, especially with the confidence around the place getting back up to where it was a few weeks ago.
