Marshall: 'I know it was a goal as I ran past two players to score'
It was a frustrating way to lose out, at Forest Green Rovers, as although they are a couple of leagues above us you could not tell.
We did not embarrass ourselves and even could have taken something away from the game if the officials had not stepped in.
We had a goal disallowed for off-side and I know it should have stood.
I know that it should have stood for a fact as it was given against me and I actually had to run past three Forest Green players to actually head the ball.
Sometimes those are the breaks you get in football but I must admit knowing that does not make it any easier to take.
After that defeat last weekend we must now move on and really make sure this season does not disappear before us.
We have suffered three defeats on the bounce now and really have to bring that run to and end as soon as possible.
Especially as Eastwood seem unable to drop points in the league at the moment.
They are on a great run and really do seem to be getting victories here, there and everywhere.
No-one seems able to take any points off of them and that is why our own results need to be addressed.
We cannot afford to let them get to far ahead of us before we play each other in a few weeks.
That would be a nightmare scenario as it would mean that even if we beat them it could still be out of our hands.
There is no better game then to get our league season back on track than this weekend's match away at Leigh.
They are a big side and really have got a lot of experience in higher levels.
They have got a nice new stadium as well which will be just the setting to bring out the best in our lads.
We always play better when we take on teams like that as our game is really suited to that kind of football.
Hopefully the game against Leigh will have Ross Dyer back in action, although, Dale Anderson who came in last weekend did a great job for us.
Dale will create such fierce competition up top and I can see us benefiting as a team from that.
He is big and strong and has the bonus of already knowing the club inside out.
He has a lot of experience from his time in the leagues above and to be honest I can only see us getting better now he is in the squad.
I am not saying that as a bad thing against the squad already as it is not like the guys up-front have been poor this season, more than 60 goals between them puts that to rest.
But with the season coming into an important time, and with the likes of Ross and Tyrone Barnett getting injuries, it is always good to have that extra body who has quality to come in.
