Defeat hurt but I still have my looks to fall back on!

I WON'T talk too much about last weekend because it's one we want to forget!

We played really well to go 2-0 up but their first goal completely changed the game.

In a way, the game summed up our season – we had spells of good play, spells of sloppy play and we shot ourselves in the foot.

For the first 40 minutes it was some of the best football we have played all season so at half time we were looking around wondering how we had gone in at 2-2 – it could have been 5-0.

Individual errors keep costing us but I felt sorry for Rene Gilmartin because he has worked hard this year and he's a popular lad.

These things happen sometimes and I'm sure he'll learn from it and go on to become an even better keeper.

It's MK Dons away this weekend and they gave us a bit of a beating when they came to the Banks's earlier this season.

We've not got much to play for and they've got plenty so the pressure will be on them.

Whenever you get beaten heavily or convincingly you never forget it – well I don't anyway – so when the next game comes around you are always ready.

On a lighter note, I was chuffed this week to find out I had been voted in the top ten sexiest footballers in the West Midlands in one of the regional daily papers.

Even at my age it seems I still have something to offer the ladies!

And I'll be slaughtering Sofiene Zaaboub this week – he made the not-so-sexy list!
