Crewe's late goal reopened old wounds
We went through a period of quite a few games earlier in the season where we conceded late on but it seemed we had got over that.
After the game, we were trying to work out just how many points late goals had cost us this season.
We didn't tally it up exactly but we know we have dropped quite a few points because of last minute goals.
In fairness to Crewe, they probably deserved their point as they had a number of chances and Clayton Ince had to make a number of superb one-on-one saves for us.
Even having said that, conceding so late on was hugely disappointing and we know it is not good enough but the games are coming quickly now so we need to get over it and fast.
It was a scrappy goal and I didn't know too much about it because I went to try and stop the cross.
There were so many bodies in the box but we should have cleared the ball before they scored.
It was a massive blow to our play-off hopes and we know it will be tough now but we have ten games left and the gaffer will not let us look towards the summer or next season.
We have to try to get as many points on the board as possible and see where that takes us.
This Saturday we face a Bristol Rovers side who are full of confidence at the moment so we have to make sure we are professional in our approach.
Then in Brighton we face a side, like Crewe, who are battling for their lives.
Sometimes players in their situations give a bit extra than they would usually.
It shouldn't be that way perhaps but it is – you could see from Crewe's celebrations on Tuesday just what that equaliser meant to them.
That draw, of course, followed on from our 2-0 defeat at Southend on Saturday, when Michael Ricketts was sent off.
He was really down about in on the coach on the way home because he knew he would miss five games.
He's had an up-and-down season this year but has shown his class with the goals he has scored for us.
