We lost ground in the race for the title last weekend at home to Marine and believe me that was a result that hurt us quite a lot.
They were a poor team and really we should not be losing to the likes of them if we want to win things this season.
We need to win those games as we know that Eastwood are chasing us hard and they will be winning those without doubt.
We followed that defeat with another in the league cup on Tuesday night and that was a game that hurt to lose – but in the long run may have benefited us.
The winner of that had to go to Kendal away in the next round and with us still chasing a lot of trophies this season two trips up there to see them in a matter of weeks may not have been the best of situations.
We must now get over what has happened this week and with the Forest Green Rovers game coming up – quickly.
That is a game that we are all up for and do not want to even think about losing.
It is a long trip for the fans but with a nice pitch and a big team in the wings hopefully they will make it to help cheer us on.
It is a huge game in so many senses for us as after all we have not been this far in the Trophy since we won it last.
A place in the quarter-final is up for grabs and you know if you get far you will be thinking about going all the way.
It will be no small feat if we do progress against Forest Green as they are no small team.
They ran Derby very close in the FA Cup and will be treating us seriously as a result, as now we are the underdogs.
I can only speak for myself but I am sure we will give it a good go and will not be going out of the competition due to a lack of effort.
Hopefully, we will have Ross Dyer back for the game also as he is a big player for us.
The guys who have come in have done well but Ross does offer a lot to the team.
