Staff being urged to think green
Almost 50 employees at Cheshire East Council have volunteered for the role of eco rep to support colleagues to become more environmentally-friendly in the workplace.
Their responsibilities include raising awareness of energy consumption, ensuring effective use of resources and monitoring progress.
Each eco rep has been supplied with a handbook which covers the relevant topics.
