Thursday, January 08, 2009, 07:00

RIDWARE Theatre has come up with an in-genie-ous performance to get everyone's new year off to a bright and sparkly start.

The folk from Zip Theatre return for another year with the pantomime Aladdin on Saturday, January 10.

Having entertained families every panto season at the Pipe Ridware venue since 1989, Zip will perform two showings of the family favourite. The first performance, at 2pm, has already sold out, but there may still be seats available for the second show at 4.30pm.

Scripted by Jon Lingard-Lane, the show promises extravagant costumes, colourful scenery, popular sing-along songs, dance routines, jokes and slapstick comedy – and, of course, audience participation.
